Look no farther than The Seal Society, one of Cardano’s newest NFTs. Since its debut last week, this collection of digitally illustrated avatars has gotten off to a fast start. Let’s learn more about the project and how it rose to the top of the Cardano ranks so quickly.
What is the Seal Society and what does it do?
A total of 3,333 CNFTs make up the Seal Society (NFTs on the Cardano blockchain). The seals in this series are dressed up in a range of clothes and accessories. The realist painting style has clearly struck a chord with the CNFT space. After all, in less than a week, it’s already looking like a top NFT collection in the Cardano ecosystem.
The colonies of the Seal Society and $FISH
The project, of course, comes with a great story. The project universe is essentially situated in an alternate Earth where seals are the dominant species. These seals have created their own civilization, complete with their own currency, culture, and art.
The Seal Society is divided into six colonies, according to legend. Sophisticated, Agent, Robotics, Military, 9-5, and Party are a few examples. Each seal has a specific function within its colony. Furthermore, as seen in the image above, the sort of seal you possess has an impact on the types of rewards you will receive.
This ingenious rewards distribution adds a lot of intrigue to the collection. As a result, holders may try to obtain a seal from a particular colony, or even from each. In any case, these additional variables provide some very interesting intra-collection utility. Not to mention that you have full IP rights to any Seal Society CNFTs you own, regardless of whatever colony your CNFT belongs to.
The $FISH Exchange
Without a doubt, any community requires some type of economic activity, and this is no exception. To be clear, the project team is developing a marketplace for the CNFT ecology of the Seal Society.
The central token of the Cardano-based marketplace will be $FISH, which will allow Seal holders to trade both digital and real commodities.
A total of 10 billion $FISH will be available. Seal holders will be able to stake their CNFTs in exchange for $FISH, which they may use to purchase merch, NFTs, and other digital assets.
Overall, the Seal Society is a potential CNFT collection that is driven by the community. It’s off to a strong start, and it’ll no doubt want to build on that base to climb the Cardano ranks.
